DESCRIPTION:One of the world’s most decorated grand prix circuits\, Phillip Island\, will make a standalone return to the mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul (ASBK) calendar in 2025 in a two-day meeting on September 6-7. \nThe round will be number six in the 2025 ASBK Championship\, in a continuation of the condensed two-day format which proved to be so popular with stakeholders at the 2024 Phillip Island event. \nFor the SW-Motech Superbike\, Kawasaki Supersport and Race and Road Supersport 300 classes\, September 6-7 will mark their second visit to the free-flowing Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in 2025\, with all three also on the ASBK Championship roster alongside round one of the FIM Motul Superbike World Championship from February 23-25. The event schedule will also feature the bLU cRU Oceania Junior Cup\, as well as the Yamaha R3 BLU CRU Asia-Pacific Championship\, which will venture to Phillip Island for the first time. \nIn Superbikes\, reigning champion Josh Waters has been a master at Phillip Island in recent years\, with only a few riders managing to crack the code and defeat the four-time champion. \nThat will inevitably be one of the Phillip Island storylines again in September 2025\, where all spectators will receive free entry into the ASBK paddock. \nThe event will also feature off-track activities to entertain the family including pit walks\, ‘Mini Moto Come and Try’ sessions for kids\, the ASBK Trade Alley and the chance to meet their favourite ASBK riders during autograph sessions across the weekend.
