Assist with the operations of the Visitor Centre ensuring that an efficiently run, high quality venue and services are presented to the marketplace.
A key focus of your role is to make a positive impact on the Visitor Centre by providing outstanding customer service and sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Adhering to all safe working policies/procedures in accordance with instructions
• Taking reasonable care of themselves and others who may be affected by their actions
• Ensuring they are able to competently and safely perform any work they undertake and are aware of the risks and hazards associated with their work
• Ensure the highest possible standards of customer service are always maintained
• Ensure a high level of product knowledge, inform customers of all products available and up-sell products where possible
• Maximise sales and upsell products where possible
• Encourage sales in all areas of the business
• Operate the POS system efficiently including EFTPOS
• Understand stock control
• Ensure theft prevention strategies are utilised
• Process and understand the Go Kart bookings and registrations system
• Operate products in the Activity Room as required
• Ensuring the highest possible cleanliness and presentation of the venue including toilets
• Report any issues in relation to maintenance and presentation to the VC Supervisor
• Assist with the presentation, barriers, chairs etc in History of Motorsport
• Undertake specialist tasks relating to events
• Assist with the Champions Café when required
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL POSSESS:
• Currently undertaking or successful completion of secondary education
