A total of 15 races and an extra session for the WorldSBK class have been locked in with the release of the event schedule for the Yamaha Finance round of the 2018 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship at Phillip Island.

The Aussie road racing great, Troy Bayliss got down to testing at Phillip Island in readiness for the ASBK kick off at the 2018 WorldSBK season opener. 

The 2018 WorldSBK field is now preparing to head Down Under for the start of the 2018 championship at Phillip Island on February 23-25 following the completion of European testing at Jerez and Portimao over the last week.

Australian representation for the opening round of the 2018 Motul FIM World Superbike Championship at Phillip Island has been boosted with the announcement of three local wildcard entries, and a one event entry.

The 2018 WorldSBK grid has been unveiled boasting a crack field of world champions, multiple race winners and lighting fast privateers on machinery across eight different manufacturers.

Three-time World Superbike Champion, Troy Bayliss will don the leathers and contest the 2018 Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul Pirelli.
