ABOUT THE ROLE
The role is responsible for administering all facets of the Accounts Receivable function for the business including invoicing, debtor’s management, data entry, ticket processing, reconciliation of daily sales and relevant reporting to management. The role also includes processing casual payroll via the Linfox Kronos payroll system.
The role will assist the Finance Manager to ensure all revenue streams are accurately reported in the financial system within reporting timetables accurately and in a timely manner.
The role requires weekend work for major public events held at the Circuit.
DUTIES:
- Accurate processing, reconciliation, reporting and management of revenue streams including online payment gateways including eWay, eftpos and online transactions for Circuit, Tourism and Catering departments.
- Accounts receivable functions including invoicing, debtors’ management, banking, processing and administration of competitor entry fees and event ticketing.
- Reconciliation and reporting the go kart online booking system against the SMS go kart reservations report, eWay payment receipts and SAP reservation balance.
- Coordination and administrative support of accounting and point of sale (POS) integrated systems.
- Preparation of financial revenue reports for department managers.
- Identification and reporting of all revenue discrepancies.
- Processing of weekly casual payroll via the Linfox Kronos payroll system.
- Provide back up support for casual contracts during staff absences and leave when required.
- Coordination and implementation of improved systems functionality of time management and POS online booking systems.
- Administration of petty cash.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in an accounts receivable or bookkeeping role.
- Intermediate computer skills with previous experience using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel functionality of formulas, pivot tables and data analysis.
- Understanding and experience of integrated accounting and POS systems.
- Working knowledge of EFTPOS facilities.
- Previous experience with SAP accounting software or similar*.
- Previous experience with IMPOS/POS system or similar*.
- Previous experience with HR processes and payroll systems*.
- Previous experience in financial management.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
